The Tytronics’® Sentinel Series measures Free
and/or Total Chlorine utilizing the DPD
colorimetric procedure based on Method 4500
Cl G Standard Methods for the Examination of
Water and Waste Water.

Sample inlet uses 1/4" tubing, allowing even
high turbidity samples to be handled
without filtering;
Dual wavelength optical configuration and
auto blank feature result in an instrument
that provides stable, accurate and
reproducible readings even with sample
color and turbidity;
Remote communication and diagnostic
capabilities via modem through RS-232C
port.

Programmable from 1 to 10 methods for a
single analysis compound;
Up to 3 different calibration methods;

Alarm functions, including sample flow,

METHOD OF ANALYSIS
A colorimetric method is used to determine
Free or Total Chlorine. Each analysis requires
two reagents.
