Measure chlorine - free and total - in potable water and waste water

CHLORINE

The Tytronics’® Sentinel Series measures Free and/or Total Chlorine utilizing the DPD colorimetric procedure based on Method 4500 Cl G Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste Water.

Tytronics’® Sentinel Features:

  • Measurement of Free or Total Chlorine on up to six streams;

  • Measurement of Free and Total Chlorine on up to three streams;

  • Sample inlet uses 1/4" tubing, allowing even high turbidity samples to be handled without filtering;

  • Dual wavelength optical configuration and auto blank feature result in an instrument that provides stable, accurate and reproducible readings even with sample color and turbidity;

  • Remote communication and diagnostic capabilities via modem through RS-232C port.

Enhanced Features of the Tytronics’. Sentinel Series:

  • Programmable from 1 to 10 methods for a single analysis compound;

  • Up to 3 different calibration methods;

  • Eight relay outputs, multi-programmable on each relay;

  • Alarm functions, including sample flow, reagent level detection.

METHOD OF ANALYSIS

A colorimetric method is used to determine Free or Total Chlorine. Each analysis requires two reagents.
