FPA 4100 Photometer FAQ

What is FPA 4100?

FPA 4100 is a process analyzer that performs ultraviolet (UV) and visible (VIS) photometric measurements of gas and liquid samples.

What parameters can FPA 4100 measure?

FPA 4100 can measure any compound that absorbs ultraviolet radiation or that can be detected in the visual spectrum. Examples of gas-phase measurements are hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and sulfur dioxide (SO2). Examples of liquid-phase measurements are unsaturated hydrocarbons (e.g. oil in water) and sodium hypochlorite.

How many streams can one FPA 4100 monitor?

FPA 4100 can monitor up to 8 sample streams using one analyzer.

What material of construction is the FPA 4100 flow cell?

FPA 4100 flow cells are engineered to order. The materials of construction are customized for maximum compatibility with sample streams. Standard materials are stainless steel and kynar.

Where is FPA 4100 manufactured?

FPA 4100 is manufactured in Massachusetts, USA at an ISO9001 certified factory.
