On-Site Service Terms


Business hours are defined as Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. local time and exclude legal holidays. Through a prior arrangement, the standard start and finish time can be altered to fall between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Standard Rate − applies to all travel and labor provided during regular business hours, up to a maximum of 10 hours on-site per day.

Overtime & Saturday − rate applies to all travel and labor provided beyond 7.5 per day, Monday through Friday, as well as to labor provided outside standard business hours, and all day on Saturday.



Travel time is calculated from the local Galvanic Applied Science Inc. service office.



Non-Local Travel, Living Expenses, etc. − For non-local living expenses, all on-site support calls requiring overnight accommodation and meals will be charged at cost plus 15%. In addition, non-local travel expenses, such as (but are not limited to) permits customs fees, air travel, parking and ground transportation (including a rental car) will be charged based upon the actual incurred cost, plus an administrative fee and taxes. Extraordinary travel expenses, freight, customs/visa fees, taxes, or similar and additional taxes will be applied to all charges.

Standby/Holdover Rate − Applies to wait time and or delays requested by the customer or due to circumstances beyond Galvanic’s control. This time will be invoiced at the rate schedule that is applicable to the time of day of service.

Minimum Service Billing − When on-site services are provided, the customer will be responsible for a minimum of four (4) hours labor, at the rate in effect for the time of day, plus any applicable expenses. The minimum four (4) hours includes local travel time.

Parts & Materials − Parts and materials provided will be invoiced as per standard parts pricing in effect at the time of services, except as otherwise indicated by prior arrangement. Email parts@galvanic.com to request replacement part pricing. (We now have one email address to fulfill your request for both gas and liquid replacement parts!)

Maximum On-Site Time − Galvanic is a safety-first company − 100% committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our employees and our customers. For that reason, Galvanic field support engineers are prohibited from working more than a maximum of 16 hours (including travel time) during any 24-hour period.

Terms & Conditions of Sale − Please refer to Galvanic Applied Science Inc. Terms & Conditions of Sales. Galvanic Applied Science Inc. shall be the sole authority to determine the warranty/ non-warranty status of any service disputes.
